Welcoming the 2022 HLF Young Ambassadors
On Sunday January 16th, The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation continued Henrik and Therese’s belief that youth have the power to make a difference. The 7th class of Young Ambassadors were welcomed at HLF’s second virtual orientation, where 15 inspiring young adults from both the tri-state and DC metro area learned about their upcoming journey as the next young ambassadors.

Carly Peterson, 2019 HLFYA and 2020 HLFYA Alumni President, Constructs Makeshift Huts for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness in New York City.
HLFYA Alumni Carly noticed an unfortunate number of people without shelter, sleeping in the streets near Fordham University and trying to survive the cold weather. She thought of a way to help by creating weatherproof huts that serve as little shelters and protection from the rain and cold.
