When Henrik retired from his hockey career on August 20, 2021, New York knew honoring this goalie legend was going to be a big celebration; not just for his career on the ice, but for his charitable work beyond it. On the night of the 28th, Henrik’s banner was raised to the rafters amongst many more hardworking and dedicated New York players.

On Sunday January 16th, The Henrik Lundqvist Foundation continued Henrik and Therese’s belief that youth have the power to make a difference. The 7th class of Young Ambassadors were welcomed at HLF’s second virtual orientation, where 15 inspiring young adults from both the tri-state and DC metro area learned about their upcoming journey as the next young ambassadors.
