As a freshman at Regis High School, Aiden Park has always had a mentality of helping others. Service was a core value at the school and an opportunity arose in July. When Aiden heard about the devastating floods that happened in Texas, Aiden knew he had to help somehow. Over multiple days he held a raffle with a signed puck from Henrik himself, and raised over $300.

The donations were given to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund which supports nonprofits in response, relief, and recovery efforts. Funds get donated to trusted local nonprofits who help not only respond to emergencies, but also rebuild. With the increasing dangers of flooding and storms, it is imperative that local agencies can respond quickly and the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund helps achieve that goal. So far they have raised over $30 million and have committed $5 million for immediate action and the rest will be used for long term rebuilding.

For Aiden, the project was more than a fundraiser—it was a lesson in responsibility and compassion. He learned that even a small effort can create meaningful impact when directed toward those in dire need. His work not only supported families in crisis but also showed how kindness and service remain vital values in today’s world.
