Our work with the Ronald McDonald Houses in Sweden continues and the 2024 commitment for another $25,000 went towards a project that will update and adapt the playground at the Ronald McDonald House in Huddinge. We are looking forward to seeing this project get started in 2025.

Furthermore, Henrik had the opportunity to visit RMH in Gothenburg for their 25th year anniversary celebration in August. Read the full article HERE.
We are also excited to announce our continued partnership with the NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospitals. With a $25,000 grant HLF will support MSCH Child Life with the hiring of additional Child Life Assistants (CLAs) to support licensed Child Life Therapists. This will allow the hospitals to expand the number of hours they can offer coverage and extend the reach of their 22 CLAs at NYP MSCH to more families and children facing high-acuity illnesses.
We are also excited to announce another important project we are funding at one of the Together For Better schools in the Dominican Republic, FUCPE. The $17,600 granted from HLF will be used to fund the renovation of proper restrooms and sanitation facilities at FUCPE school.
Other Noteworthy Initiatives
In spring of 2024 Henrik and HLF partnered with the Swedish organization Hjart-Lungfonden to raise money to research for heart and lung disease. We promised to match gifts up to SEK250,000 with the goal to together raise SEK500,000. The campaign exceeded our expectations by far and together with your donations and HLF’s matching we reached SEK1,037,326!
