On Monday, October 27, 2025, a handful of the Young Ambassadors from the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation traveled into New York City to hear from various professionals from the New York Presbyterian Children’s Hospital. They shared about their careers, how and why they got into their careers, and all about different careers in the field.
One professional shared about how he got into working at a hospital and what it was like for him to grow up and what challenges he faced to get to where he is today.
In addition to learning about careers in the field, our HLFYAs created holiday cards for patients staying at the New York Presbyterian Children’s Hospital. It was fun to color and provide joy to the patients.
The afternoon was a great day of learning and service. Our YAs had the opportunity to learn about the various careers at the New York Presbyterian Hospital and share a little joy to the patients staying at the hospital.
