On September 11, 2025, Henrik Lundqvist proudly represented the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation (HLF) as a celebrity ambassador at the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund’s (CFRF) annual Charity Day in New York City. The day serves a singular purpose: to transform remembrance into action. Each year on September 11, Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Group donate 100% of that day’s global revenues to the Relief Fund and to dozens of direct-service charities around the world.

Henrik’s itinerary included both event hubs in Manhattan. He began the morning on the trading floor at BGC Group, where he greeted staff, connected with clients, and even helped execute trades under the guidance of desk heads and brokers; each transaction directly benefiting Charity Day’s philanthropic total. He then traveled uptown to Cantor Fitzgerald’s headquarters to continue meeting teams and supporters. The structured tour allowed Henrik to engage with employees and clients, lend his voice to media interviews, and celebrate the generosity that fuels this meaningful day.

For HLF, participating in Charity Day resonates deeply with our mission to “create positive change in the lives of children and adults through health and education.” Charity Day’s impact reaches far beyond one trading session. With the proceeds raised, the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund provides crucial, year-round support to charities across sectors, while also stepping in during moments of crisis to assist communities affected by natural disasters and emergencies.

Now in its third decade, Charity Day has evolved into a global movement. While New York is home base, in-person events also take place in London, France, and Brazil, reflecting the international community that stands behind CFRF’s work and the universal desire to remember 9/11 in a way that helps others. The day is supported by an extraordinary roster of celebrity ambassadors, from athletes and musicians to actors, media personalities, and community leaders—who help amplify the mission and momentum of the Relief Fund.
HLF extends heartfelt thanks to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, BGC Group, and every staff member, broker, client, and volunteer who made this year’s Charity Day possible. We are grateful for the opportunity to join such a meaningful tradition, one that unites remembrance with impact and demonstrates the extraordinary good that can be achieved when communities stand together. To learn more about the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund and Charity Day, please visit cantorrelief.org and follow #CFCharityDay.
