On Tuesday December 12th, as part of Garden of Dreams Night at the NY Rangers game, HLFYA 2022 Alumni Ilan Shterenberg made a live presentation, alongside Henrik Lundqvist, of the Freedom Concepts Dream Bike he raised funds to build and donate to Garden of Dreams Young Person Emma Larson.
After raising funds to provide a Washington Capitals Dream Bike to Lamar Collado in 2022, Ilan turned his sites towards the Rangers community with some help from HLF Community Partner, the Garden of Dreams Foundation. The project was an incredible undertaking for Ilan, from coordinating the bike’s specifications for Emma and raising over $6,000 to build it, to traveling with his family to NYC from the Washington DC area to be a part of the in-game presentation.

During the game’s 2nd period, Ilan joined Emma on the MSG concourse with her brand new custom adaptive bike. To Emma’s surprise Henrik Lundqvist joined both of them to make the incredible moment even more special.
