For Connor’s Independent Service Project (ISP), he organized a virtual fundraiser in support of the Homeless & Travelers Aid Society’s (HATAS) Feed and Read Program. This program provides nutritious meals and books to at-risk children in the capital region.

In the past, Connor has raised funds in support of HATAS to provide diapers and basic necessities to families in need. His ISP for the Feed and Read Program has been his most successful project so far totaling $6,000.

Being able to work with HATAS has provided Connor with a perspective on what is important in life and to not take things for granted. He is thankful to his friends, family, teammates, coaches, and teachers who contributed and have supported him with his projects. Connor also appreciates the support of HLF for helping with his online page which made it easier for people to give in times like these.

In recognition of his community service throughout the years, HATAS will be honoring Connor as a Champion of Compassion on November 19, 2020.
