Meri is a prominent charitable consultant working for over 18 years to cultivate high impact, strategic and sustainable sports and entertainment philanthropy. As founder of Seek to Be LLC, a philanthropic consulting business specializing in services for athletes, entertainers, brands, agencies and sports-based nonprofits, Meredith currently serves as Executive Director of Ladd Foundation, Chief Operating Officer
of YourMomCares and Senior Program Director of the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation (HLF) Young Ambassadors Program. She previously served as the founding Executive Director of HLF. Meredith is also the Co-Founder and Co-Director of the Sports & Entertainment Impact Collective, an industry leader in executive education programming at the intersection of sports, entertainment and philanthropy.
Meredith has led her clients to distinction at the team, league and international levels and raised millions of dollars in support of various causes including, since 2018, a specific focus on children’s mental health. Trained as a charitable sector expert as well as a corporate attorney, prior to founding Seek to Be, Meredith served as in-house counsel at NHL Enterprises, L.P.
Meredith earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law School and studied fundraising and grantmaking at the Heyman, Jr. Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising at New York University. She received her B.A. from the Honors College at the George Washington University.
Meredith lives in Brooklyn, NY with her husband and two daughters.
